Freshfields, College Path, Formby, Merseyside L37 1LH

Freshfields is a spacious, purpose-built home, providing support and nursing for 33 adults with a physical disability. Situated close to Formby village in Merseyside, Freshfields is a short distance from the coast and the National Trust’s ‘Red Squirrel’ reserve, and is close to many local amenities, including restaurants and a swimming pool.

We specialise in supporting people who have varying needs as a result of physical and long term neurological conditions including cerebral palsy, epilepsy, head/brain injury, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson’s disease, speech impairment, spina bifida & hydrocephalus.

Our Registered Nurse teams are highly skilled and trained to deliver specialist and complex nursing care and have significant experience with PEG care, and tissue viability management. The full-time support we provide is flexible and designed to help build skills, inspire confidence and encourage people to live more independently.

We work directly with each individual to develop a personalised support programme based on their needs, wishes and aspirations. This includes personal care, health & wellbeing programmes, community engagement, enablement, volunteering & activities and respite services.
