We specialise in supporting people who have varying needs as a result of physical and long term neurological conditions including cerebral palsy, brain injury, Huntington’s disease, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida & hydrocephalus and stroke.
Our Registered Nurse teams are highly skilled and trained to deliver specialist and complex nursing care and have significant experience with personal nursing care (inc. tracheostomy & PEG/NG care), health & wellbeing programmes, rehabilitation, community engagement, enablement & transition, volunteering & activities and respite services.
The full-time support we provide is flexible and designed to help build skills, inspire confidence and encourage people to live more independently. We work directly with each individual to develop a personalised support programme based on their needs, wishes and aspirations. Beachwood uniquely features a Life Skills Room designed to provide disabled people with deeply engaging experiences and help them to learn different skills and maximise their potential. The room features interactive screen technology, virtual reality handsets, iPads, Kindles, an Xbox gaming console and immersive lighting.
